Kaia just makes a circle around the trees and returns to the nest.
15.35 Mating attempt, Kaia steps away.
They settle to resting positions. Kaia on the curved branch and Karl ll lying down. They are still in the same pose at 16.18.
16.36. Same situation as before- Karl approaches from behind to mate, Kaia escapes..or rather she slips off that branch and flies away.

Today I counted 6 successful matings and 10 unsuccessful attempts( rejection by Kaia).
Plus two times when Kaia "mated" with Karl.
It seems that Kaia was not satisfied with something today because she was not in the mood to mate.
Or she is just a very picky girl
2 nights Kaia isn't spending the night in the nest.

Karl ll woke up and started to work on the nest.
Karl brought in different nest material.

08.52 Kaia arrives home. I think she is pleased with her husband's efforts to make their home comfortable and warm
It just needs a little "womanly touches" Kaia starts to work with the moss.
08.57 Kaia sees Karl ll coming. Karl is very happy and excited to find her lady already waiting for him at home
