15.31 No change in the situation. The chicks are occasionally asking for food, but it's more important to protect them now. The rainy weather will probably set some obsticles on Kaia's food search. So everyone must just wait patiently.
Black storks are amazing parents when it comes to caring for their young. Especially our Karl II, who is a very dedicated and gentle father! ( and so was Jan!

I can see that the chicks are shivering they are cold..
19.19 FEEDING (5) Karl gives out 4 portions of food! That's a lot of small fish! The chicks eat it all.
The chicks are very full afterwards and seeking warmth again from eachother.
The camera has some technical issues today- the stream is stuttering a lot and now there also seem to be some sound problems as well..
