No6 while eating (10.56.50)

Thank you Marika for confirmation. He needs strength to be able to break through siblings. We keep our fingers crossed.marika.solo wrote: ↑28 May 2022, 08:52 Must-toonekurg/2::Ciconia nigra https://youtu.be/Do5wJsjJGgUyoutube chat (by me):

or it is No5 (No6 is sleeping? behind them)
- so it was No6, good to know that, Adriána thank you
- this youngest storklet doesn't need to eat much (as much as big siblings), but it needs to eat and regularly
- skipping meals is not good for benjamin, because it only increases the size gap
- as we saw yesterday, the parents adjust the food (also) according to the size of the offspring (and thus the three older ones were able to swallow a really big fish yesterday in the evening)
today is crucial for No6, even No5 "came to life" until the third day significantly, but anything can happen at any time, although the first 10-14 days are usually decisive - finger crossed for miracle = nest with 6 fledged siblings (edit: but 5 is also very, very, good even 4)

REKORD ⟩ Jõgevamaa must-toonekurgedel on kuus poega (RECORD⟩ The black storks of Jõgeva County have six offspring)
(GT with little corrections)
The members of the Eagle Club announce that the sixth offspring of Jānis and Jaanika, the black stork of Jõgeva County, was in the nest on Tuesday morning just before seven o'clock. Such a litter is very rare among black storks.
