Karula National Park (Karl II and Kaia)

After a quick consult and showing the clips about Kaia's behavior to prof. Piotr Zielínski ( Polish black stork expert), he commented:

It is the character of Kaia- she got irritated very easily. Karl II behaves normally and they live in the same area, so rather not mercury level is the cause.

Good morning. Hopefully we see a better side of Kaia today.

05.07 They greet eachother and start to preen.


05.13 Kaia is clearly still avoiding copulations. Dancing, no mating.

07.19 Karl II brings moss and hay. He works a little and rests.


08.01 Karl out.

10.07 Karl sees Kaia. He is calling and Kaia arrived.

10.12 Kaia starts to work.

Both continue preening.
