17.05: pooping, short aerating the remaining eggs and settled down
17.13 she stand up, aerating, moving the moss

17.42: F up, storklets twittering, feeding, it seems the two older eat only
also the little one managed it (the rest - most of the food - ate F back, later she will regurgitating it again)

FEEDING for hatchlings

Therefore, the female goes in search of food during the hatching phase, in order to then carry out the first feedings herself."

here we see another situation by hatching and by feedings/feedings attempt too

we saw one bigger fish (M) and now snakes (F)

1/ fish, snakes, ... food becomes softer and softer (is pre-digested) and at some point, the chicks will be able to take small bites out of it
2/ with newly hatched chicks, the yolk sac is the source of nutrients for the first 12-24 hours post-hatching
3/ chicks less than one week old should be fed 6-10 times per day (every 2-3 hours)

- they are typically found in the headwaters of streams that are moderately warm and clean

good food source! (and she brought much lampreys )

21.01 - Jan threw out the lampreys - info Marika on the chat (I can't recognize it ).:

The chicks could not get to it, in the end one succeeded.
