What is the difference between the begging and "go away" body language?
these are just my thoughts (what I read somewhere sometime in the past) - I haven't verified anything in scientific sources yet
- every black storks near the nest (on the nest) is potential food provider - little storklets are always hungry
1/ threat + defensive behaviour (anti-predator defence)
- wings partially open, ruffled feathers and a rigid body/frozen, typical noises/growling
or you mean something else? "go away"
2/ "food waiting behaviour"
- sitting/kneeling on its tarsi, wings first only partially open, and begging with nodding movements/nodding their head (waiting for food delivery when they are hungry)
- twittering, circle, wing flapping (when they see the arrival or fly one BS very near the nest) and the moving their bills toward the parents bill
after translating the relevant part from the Book, I will add more scientific sentences
edit:
I don't see this situation (I was out)
