The night went calmly, Karl incubated until 00.11, then Kaia took over. They switched a few more times.

01.32 Karl takes over incubation. Kaia is responds vocally. Interesting communication.


03.48 Karl is preening Kaia, who is incubating.


05.47 Mating (1)


05.55 Karl left.

06.16 Kaia is rolling the eggs. Still 3


Then she starts making puffing and sneezing sounds, her back feathers are puffed...
06.17 She lifts her bottom! The 4th egg is here!


07.26 Only now Kaia stands for the first time. 4 eggs are clearly visible


She rolls them and quickly continues incubation.

09.46 Karl comes home.


09.48 Karl takes care of the nest and eggs, then sits down. Kaia has a piece of moss hanging from her belly


09.50 Kaia flies off. You can see from the camera that she lands not far on the right side.

15.20 Kaia arrives from a long trip. She deserves some rest after yesterday's disturbances and the new egg..


15.22 Mating (2). Kaia was reluctant at first, but Karl was smarter.

15.24 Karl leaves. Kaia takes care of the eggs and continues incubation.
