Kaia feels more secure now and she lays down as soon as Karl arrives. Karl is giving Kaia shade from the sun and preening her. Kaia doesn't like to be preened. She tries to pull her head away.

17.44 Karl makes some attempts in regurgitating something. He casts a small pellet..
He tries to throw it out. But this doesn't give him relief yet. He continues to shake it out from his throat.

Karl still has trouble with the pellet at 17.45/46 and 17.52/53. He manages to regurgitate it but then swallows it back down. He still has like this big brown mass in his mouth??

20.30 Karl suddenly starts to sing! It's an alarm!
Kaia joins..
20.31 Kaia lays down. There is a strange stork nearby! Probably a female. Kaia demonstrates that this nest is already taken!
20.31.22 A strange black stork lands in the nest! Kaia attacks her and throws her out of the nest.
* Both sexes fight- males with males and females with females. This is why Karl was only vocal and Kaia attacked the stranger.
Karl and Kaia just can't relax. They are vocal still several minutes later.
