Early in the morning, Jan was very active and brought various material to the nest:
At 5.33 Jan leaves

He immediately flew away and at 7.49 brought another moss:

When he found a place for the branch, he flew away again and returned at 7.59 with a beak full of moss:


Janika modifies the material that Jan applied and Jan flies away again:


At 8.07 Jan returned with dry grass:


He adjusted his feathers and flew away at 8.15:


and at 8.19 Jan brought a branch:


At 8.41 Janika turned the eggs and Jan flew away:


Jan was probably at breakfast because he returned at 10.15:

They spent the whole morning and lunch together at the nest and took turns incubating the eggs.

This morning, at 5.32, Janika was the first to leave for breakfast:


At 8.00 Janika returned with the moss:

They spent time together at the nest, taking turns incubating the eggs and keeping the feathers clean.
