There were already 2 failed mating attempts in the early morning.

05.26 Kaia flies out.

05.27 Karl out.

05.28 Karl is already back, singing.

05.30 Karl out again.

06.12 Karl and Kaia both arrive.

06.14 Mating unsuccessful- no copulation.

Karl is approaching Kaia every 3-4 minutes. So far none of the attempts have been successful. It seems that Kaia is starting to get irritated.

06.32 Karl manages to climb on Kaia's back, but he is out of place- no copulation.

06.40 Kaia on Karl...

07.31 Karl out - 07.33 back with moss.

Both spread the moss and Kaia lies down to test if the nest is already soft enough



07.37 Karl out- 07.38 brings a twig.

09.21 Mating failed- Karl slipped down from Kaia's back.

Both storks are activly working with the nest and arranging material today.

11.39 Karl lies down and Kaia goes on top of him again!

11.59 Kaia leaves the nest and flies to the right.
Karl II follows her right after.

13.50 Karl comes back.
