05.08 FEEDING (1) Kaia regurgitates a pile of fish. The chicks eat it very fast. A minute later Kaia regurgitates a second pile, looks like lampreys.

After feeding, The chicks go to sleep and Kaia stands besides them.
06.04 KARL comes home. Kaia greets him and talks to him, then Kaia leaves.
Karl goes to stand near the kids and watch over them. ( Look at Karl's neck- there must be a lot of food in it

07.05 The chicks start twittering and Karl moves into feeding position.

Karl spreads some nest material, walks arounf the nest. Then grooms the chicks a little.
07.23 Karl flies away. Chicks are alone.

09.51 KAIA arrives. She gives a very long greeting to Karl. They "talk" about something important Kaia's legs are muddy.
Karl's nest duty was 1 h 28 min.
Karl doesn't leave immediately, only 2 minutes later.
Kaia takes her place on the curved branch.

10.21 The chicks are hot and they are chirping for some water or shade. Kaia stands in front of them.
The wind is strong today. Little pieces of twigs fly in the wind.
10.26 Kaia regurgitates a lamprey, along with a smaller fish. #3 manages to eat the small fish, but Kaia instantly takes back the lamprey. I think it wasn't her intention to feed the chicks yet. Maybe she is trying to get some water ? Because the chicks are chirping like they are thirsty.

A few minutes later the chicks calm down. They become silent and go to resting.
