12.12 Karl flies away to the right.

Kaia alone in the nest, resting and working with the nest bowl. Pecking the moss and arranging some twigs.

[Madli]

13.34 Kaia leaves, she flies to the right.

13.36 Karl arrives from the left.

13.37.16 Karl looks to the right, is singing and flies oit to the right. He makes a circle between the trees and lands back at the best 13.37.25. He is singing.

13.37.43 Karl flies away to the left.

14.17 Karl II arrives back to the nest, singing.

15.34 Karl flies away to the left.

16.43 Karl arrives, singing.
Kaia also comes to the nest.

16.48 Mating unsuccessful. Karl got on top of Kaia, but slipped down.

16.55 Another attempt- dancing, Karl tries to step on Kaia's back, but he doesn't manage. Kaia steps away.

16.59 Again dancing, no mating.
17.00 Again same situation.

Kaia keeps running and running. Karl's head must be already spinning ! But he doesn't give up either. He keeps trying after every few minutes. Keep up Karl, you will succeed eventually

Isn't she going to leave tonight?

18.43 Kaia doesn't recognise Karl again from far? She sees someone coming, but acts like she is scared. She lies flat in the nest. Only on Karl's arrival she stands up and greets him.

[Madli]

18.46 Mating (6) At first Karl stands up on Kaia's back eventually he manages to get to the right position though..



19.49 Kaia is trying to show some affection...
