yes, to me too more probably one of the elder chicks is gone :-( (I know them not very good)
Justyna answered to someone it was the youngest one - Nr 4.
We will see what is the opinion of prof. PZ - but it is not important in my opinionT
Three chicks will have better chance always.

at 14.20 (no feeding)

the behaviour of the littlest chick is to me more typical for the "hatchling" (the two are already typical nestlings)

pisklęta łącznie były karmione 12 razy. Obejrzałem kilka i najmłodszy też coś zjadł.

The chicks were fed a total of 12 times. I watched a few and the youngest ate something too.

Justyna hi :-)
Thank you!

Black storks really don't like crows. We see that also on the other nest (e.g. Karula nest).

today on the nest

youtube chat info by Larysa Baranowska:

Dostawy materiałów: (New nest material)
Fer x1; Flo x12;

Karmienia (feedings)
Fer (female) - 05:24; 07:45; 08:58; 10:56;
Flo (male): 05:39; 06:16; 12:54; 13:47; 18:29;

Zdarzenia: (Events)
17:30:49 przelot jastrzębia, Fer zareagowała. - see the video by Bozena in previous post

prof PZ commented this situation:
Fer reacted instantly. But the hawk immediately flew away, and things quickly returned to normal
The hawk was patrolling the area. It's good that he knows the nest is guarded
