It's like on purpose. I had been looking forward to hatching all winter and this very night I had to suffer .

19.48 Kaia is up again.
Egg talk is heard, but more silent this time.
No pip seen now, it is on the other side


Kaia aerated the nest bowl, but didn't turn the eggs.

20.08 Kaia is up.
I hear twittering and chirping. No significant progress in hatching.
Kaia only very gently rolled the eggs.

Our pretty but sleepy Kaia
The egg is occasionally beeping under her, Kaia won't be able to rest very much as she listens and feels the little tweets.

20.56 Kaia stands up.
She stretches herself. The egg is talking.


Kaia aerates the nest bowl, but does'nt move the eggs.

21.26 Kaia is up again.
A hole is visible.


Kaia preens herself for a short moment. Then the chick squeaks and Kaia startles

The egg shell is moving.
