Karl, unlike Kaia, devotes a considerable part of care to the eggs, while Kaia, during a significantly shorter incubation than Karl, devotes more care to herself than to the eggs . I don't know if this is standard for all females or Kaia is different in this .

2. Kaia 9.53 - 15.23 ( 5 h 30 min )
taking care off the eggs - 10.06, 10.37, 11.10, 12.01, 12.30, 12.58, 13.51, 14.35, 15.19

3. Karl 15.45 -
taking care off the eggs - 16.05, 16.28, 16.35, 16.56, 17.39, 18.07, 18.38

Karl continued to incubate all night. It was not possible to determine when Kaia flew away from the secondary location from the camera.
