Around at midnight Ural owls were calling, Karl didn't like that very much.

They were active from early morning. The first mating was at 4.16:


Before today's first flight, Karl still had several attempts to mate, but they did not meet with understanding at Kaia's .

Karl stopped Kaia while she was working on the nest and they mated:

After the successful mating, Kaia continued to work on the nest .
They stayed on the nest, Karl rested and Kaia cleaned her feathers.
After a short rest, Karl also cleans his feathers.

15.55 - Karl is still singing, Kaia lies down, immediately gets up and joins Karl and they sing together.
It is probably to defend the nest from a stranger who was flying near the nest - only a shadow could be seen.
