Karl II crossed the Taurus Mt. Continued paralell parallel to the Gulf of İskenderun, flew over the Nur Mt. and arrived to the Amik Valley. Karl's newest location is to the east from the village – it seems to me like some kind of marshland area.

In a not so distant past there was a lake in place of the Amik Plain, fed by the Karasu and Asi rivers and the Afrin Stream. After the lake was totally dried by the DSİ in 1970 as part of a project launched in the 1950s, the property was distributed among landless villagers. - TURKEY: Akpinar - a village in Kumlu district of Hatay Province

Karl II flew not far to the south. His newest localisation is north from the village Akpinar in/near one stream. The stream flows close to the main road. The Aslar Beton is very close to the north from that place.
