TIMMU, adult male from Pärnu county
https://birdmap.5dvision.ee/EN/2022/aut ... =0&speed=1
ring number 704X
birdmap info:
Adult black stork from Pärnu county, Estonia. Caught in the beginning of August 2020, on the old wood rafting channel Timmkanal, after which he was named. We only found out about Timmu's nest in the next year, because in 2020 he had no brood. After his capture and installation of the transmitter, Timmu stayed at the release point for several days probably due to stress and did not want to fly. But when he started flying, he went on migration on August 17, 2020. ...
season 2022: Timmu was alone this year. In spring he even flew to Latvia to search for a mate and spent time waiting in 5 different nests. (thx Madli)
season 2021: Timmu raised 2 chicks (thx Madli)
season 2020: no brood

In previous years, we received data relatively regularly. The situation worsened last year. I hope that both Timmu and the transmitter are fine and the "silence" is only due to the changed situation in the region.
27.12.2022: Timmu occasionally sends data from his wintering area, but it's not on the birdmap (Urmas via Madli)
