btw. previous year we don't have data from 06.10 2021 (localisation near Aswan Dam) to 28.03.2022 (localisation near Luxor, resp. first data arrived on 28.03 and his localisation on 15.03.2021 than also the current localisation)

- EGYPT: west from Safaga – Red Sea Governorate

NEW data:
- 16.10.2022 (!), Distance: 6309 km (+ 693 km in 2 days)
- SUDAN: in the Northern state of Sudan (SE from Wadi Halfa, NE from Abu Hamad) - Eastern Desert, part of the Sahara desert

Nurme continued to the south. His localisation is on the night resting place (lines).

This season Nurme seems to fly directly to his wintering grounds in Ethiopia
(this is not typical behaviour)

Nurme changed the direction, crossed the Nile river and continued to the SW. The newest localisation is in Sudan (north from El Obeid).

NEW data:
- 19.10.2022, Distance: 7375 km (+ 1066 km in 3 days)
- SUDAN: Zungah - little village in Shaikan region/Sheikan District of North Kordofan/Kurdufan State

Nurme crossed the river Nile 3 times. First near Al Karabah and continued over eastern edge of the Bayuda Desert (first overnight there). The second crossing point (path-line) is near El Matamma. The second overnight place is north from Khartoom. Next day Nurme flew over Nile again and continued to the south-west. Nurme's newest localisation is to the north from El Obeid/Al Ubayyid the capital of the North Kordofan State, to the east from the village Zungah on one rocky elevation.
