Madi again in the favourite wet area to the south from the school and/or to the north from the solar panels plant (there are two regulated streams)


Madi's localisation in the town Altıntaş (in fly? I think no ... something happened, but I have no idea what )

I don't know if we will find out what happened to little Madi - if he needed help, there is also a veterinarian in Atlantis (but contact with humans and all accompanying activities often mean such stress that, despite the efforts of experts, they often die)

after Madis arrival at the Yaselda River and later to Great Brăila Island I was full of hope ... and Madi flew the Marmara Sea at its widest point! (it cost Madis too much strength, which he could not renew? our storklet was not able to find enough food? To much questions ... I'm just thinking and I am very, very sad)

I am travelling away, so I will write a summary of Madi's life story from the facts we know only after my return ...

Hello dear ones,
there is news about Madi, in the LKF.
Apparently she has been run over by a car.
I know that I should always think positively, but I am afraid what else will be reported on our young storks and old storks. Watching and following storks is sometimes very difficult to bear.

Urmas:
As we know, Madi was hit by car in Turkey.
But as its body weight was only 1,7 kg, there was probably some starvation or disease causing not proper behaviour.
Though body was brought to vet, no information about any vet examination.
Transmitter is in Turkey, together with transmitter of Katrin and is promised to send these back. Local ornithologists were not able to use these for Black Storks in Turkey as I initially suggested.

I am still very sorry for this storklet
