in this season we can follow 3 juvenile black storks with transmitter from Rescue Station Makov - Čížová:

handicaped pair, male is with ring, he is named Toník (nickname - Antonín = Anthony/Tony), female is named Tonička (nickname - Antonie = Antonia/Tonia)
hatching: 14.05. + 14.05. + 15.05. + 17.05. (the youngest one perished on June 1 after attempt to brood reduction by the female)

Hello everyone

ORANGE: this storklet after releasing almost immediately started to migration on 26.08.2021 (western migration path). Most probably something happened with transmitter - last data: ES Santa Eufemia, Andalusia (GPS) 19.09.2021 03:00. Nothing suspicious on the last known place.

Green and Blue stayed for a few days in a good and nice place not far from the place of release.

GREEN started to migration on 29.08.2021 and continued to the south (eastern migration path). The stork turned back in Bulgaria (on 03.09.2021) and returned to northern Serbia. From 11.09.2021 it stays in the same area (Special nature reserve Gornje Podunavlje).

BLUE started to migration on the next day (30.08.2021), but continued only to the border area AT - SK to alluvium of Moravia. Some days Blue spent east from Bratislava (SK) in the area of Šúr national nature reserve. Blue started to migration after 4 weeks in this stopover place on 28.09.2021. Newest data are from northwestern Albania.

This morning (24.09.2021) I checked the place. I didn't find any traces (no feathers, no bones) and I didn't find a transmitter.
The exact coordinate point is a hill with shrubby vegetation and some holly oak (Quercus ilex). It doesn't seem appropriate unless a predator dragged him there, but I'm already saying I haven't found a clue. I also examined the ascending and descending part of the river without success.

Blue yesterday continued on its way from Serbia via Kosovo to Albania - to the Drin RIver near Bushat
