arrival to Estonia on 13.04, info shared by our Madli: most probably arrived to his nest at 14.04 (viewtopic.php?p=1691#p1691)

- wintering place: near tributary streams and the river Athbara (north east from Metemma - a town in northwestern Ethiopia, located in the Semien Gondar Zone of the Amhara Region)
new data - spring birdmap:
- Distance: 526 km (the new distance measurement started on 15.02), Last data: 02.03.2021
- south from Sebdereat, Gash Barka Region, in the south-west of the country ERITREA (above mountains/hill)

Timmu don't send data 9 days (!)

- Distance: 3388 km, Last data: 13.03.2021
- east from Karaisalı - a small city and a district in Adana Province of Turkey, administratively a part of the Metropolitan Municipality of Adana (location in forest area - maybe his night resting place)

Timmu crossed the Gulf of Suez on 08.03 and flew via Sinay, Israel (09.03), Syria (11.,12.03) to Turkey over the Gulf of İskenderun (13.03)

Previous data: 14.02.22. Distance 7710 km. At his wintering area in Metema district in the North Gondar Zone, Amhara National Regional State, NW ETHIOPIA.
New data: 13.03.22. Distance 1055 km(starting from 15.02). Nubian Desert, Red Sea state, SUDAN. East from the Nile.

Timmu started his spring migration on 10.03.2022, passing through Eritrea and reached the border of Sudan on the first night. Then he continued NW direction through the Nubian desert in Sudan.


Timmu's last movement in his wintering area in Ethiopia from 15.02 to 09.03


Timmu's last known location in the desert. Last data was probably received during flight.
