Timmu had a resting day and did not move a lot. He reached Oteștii de Sus by the evening and searched for food in nearby valleys and settled for the night in a forested area.

Timmu did not have birdmap update for 02.04.22.

Comparison with spring migration 2021!

On 01.04 2021, Timmu was already in Ukraine (as most of our storks are by now), in 2022, Timmu is still in Romania. He is located on the foot of the Southern Carpathian mountains. In 2021, he took a long route to cross the mountains. He made a stopping point in the Olt river valley, which runs through the mountain range. This year (maybe?) he will use a straight way across the Carpathians by the Olt River valley..
