Nurme crossed the Karnobat-Aitos range of the Balkan Mountains in Bulgaria and continued to Romania. He flew above the Wallachian Plain and continued in his migration parallel with the Carpathians above the Siret river. Its upper course cuts longitudinally through a wide valley with a sinuous course. Suceava river is the right tributary of Siret River. It discharges into the Siret in the town Liteni.
