- streaming started very late only on 12.06
- chicks: Skarlet 16J6, Tytus 17J6 (and one unhatched egg)
- ringing day: 30.06 (The chicks around 30 days old were in good shape and weighed 2270g and 2350g.)
- maiden flight: 04.08 the first chick
- migration: 21.08 both siblings
- female Skierka last seen on the nest on 18.08 - feeding (on 11.09 she arrived to his wintering area in Greece, Kerkini Lake area)
- male Tytan last seen on the nest on 20.08 - feeding

"Both young storks took off straight from the nest and on August 21 began their migration along the classic eastern route. Contact with Tytus broke off in Hungary on September 20 on the Koros River. Skarlet, on the other hand, dropped her position for the last time on October 6 in Egypt in front of the Suez Canal. We do not know what their further fate is

Skierka is a four-year-old female (4 CY/hatched 2017) who comes from the Skierniewice Forest District in the Bolimów Forest (Puszcza Bolimowska). There she was ringed and even had a GPS transmitter on. (Previous years we follow her with the "name" BOCZ 07 ŻÓŁTY - Yellow, because she has yellow transmitter.) The female joined her first successful brood in the Wolsztyn Forest District, i.e. about 300 kilometers to the east from her place of origin. (more also here viewtopic.php?p=993#p993)
The nest on an oak in the Wolsztyn Forest District is located in an old farmland. Our female "Skierka" tried to breed in two other nests 20 and 40 km away already in 2020, but she was chased away by old birds. In 2021, she again visited the same two nests from last year and finally joined her first-ever brood in the Wolsztyn Forest District.

The online transmission from the nest of the black stork Ciconia nigra is the result of cooperation between the ECC and the Forest Experimental Station of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Rogów and the Wolsztyn Forest District. The camera was placed on a neighboring pine tree in mid-June 2021 by members of the ECC with the consent of the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Poznań. For the first time in the history of ornithological research in Poland, a new nest was located thanks to the tracking of a young 4-year-old female equipped with a GPS-GSM logger. The device was put on the chick in the nest in 2017 in the Skierniewice Forest District as part of the BocianiMy w Lasach project http://bocianimy.pl/ The nest is located on a single old oak in the Wolsztyn Forest District, where in 2021 the female started her first brood and laid three eggs, out of which two chicks hatched. Nesting ended with success. The first autumn migration was started by the female on August 18, two days after her by the male, while the chicks left the nest on August 21.
The female spent the winter for the fourth time in Greece on the Struma River near the Kerkini National Park in Macedonia. During this time, she was in the company of a dozen other storks. On March 4, 2022, she started the spring migration north, on the way she stopped for a short stop in Serbia.
