Piotr Zieliński If the leg loggers do transmit, I’ll certainly let you know. A few years ago, we tried to catch a chick near a nest because it couldn't get back up there. But the chick would just fly off a few dozen meters whenever it saw us, so we left it alone to avoid tiring it out unnecessarily.

Piotr Zieliński - No, the less activity in that area, the better. In that forest, the mushrooms are at the northern edge, and I see mushroom pickers there regularly. The guy who was near the nest had no experience with mushroom picking and was wandering all over the forest; you could tell he didn't know about the nest—he stumbled upon it by accident.

Piotr Zieliński There is no way to help. That was actually when we wanted to catch the young one that was transmitting from that same part of the forest, but we didn't catch it because it flew off. It only makes sense to go there once the logger shows the position within a small area.

Piotr Zieliński There is no way to help. That was actually when we wanted to catch the young one that was transmitting from that same part of the forest, but we didn't catch it because it flew off. It only makes sense to go there once the logger shows the position within a small area.
