Bolewice Forest District (Skierka and Królewicz)

Skierka wróciła do Bolewic z Grecji 5 marca, o czym wiemy dzięki loggerowi GPS-GSM. Po tygodniu oblatywania terenu i żerowania w bliższych i dalszych okolicach (najdalej 43 km), dziś znów pojawiła się na gnieździe w Bolewicach. Przez ten czas odwiedziła co najmniej 5 różnych gniazd w nadleśnictwach: Bolewice (2), Trzciel, Wolsztyn i Konstantynowo. Mamy nadzieję, że niebawem ciepłe prądy powietrza przyniosą nam tu Królewicza i ptaki przystąpią po raz czwarty do lęgów w tym właśnie miejscu.



Skierka returned to Bolewice from Greece on March 5, which we know thanks to her GPS-GSM logger. After a week of flying around the area and foraging in the near and distant surroundings (up to 43 km away), she appeared back at the nest in Bolewice today. During this time, she visited at least 5 different nests in the forest districts of Bolewice (2), Trzciel, Wolsztyn, and Konstantynowo. We hope that warm air currents will soon bring Królewicz here, and the birds will begin their fourth breeding season in this very place.
