Wysłałam już e-mail do pana Dariusza Anderwalda z prośbą o informacje z nadajników Ziemowita i Ody oraz z pytaniem o sytuację Wandy.
Krótkie zestawienie tego, co zaobserwowaliśmy na kamerze:
Ziemowit:
Nie było go w kadru od wylotu 21.06 o 10:20. Wrócił do gniazda 22.07 o 19:08, (karmienie Bawarka), przenocował i odleciał dzisiaj (23.07) w deszczu o 08:32.
Oda:
Poleciała na swój prawdopodobnie pierwszy lot (maiden flight) 21.07 o 10:41 i do tej pory nie wróciła.
Wanda (1FT4 ):
22.07 o 11:28 i Mieszko ją nakarmił. O 12:39 odstraszała jakiegoś drapieżnika, po czym odleciała w dużym pośpiechu i od tamtej pory jej nie było.
I have sent an email to Mr. Dariusz Anderwald requesting transmitter data for Ziemowit and Oda, as well as asking for his opinion on Wanda's situation.
A brief summary of what we observed on the camera:
Ziemowit:
Had been out of the camera frame since leaving on June 21 at 10:20. He returned to the nest on July 22 at 19:08, (feeding by Bawarka)spent the night, and took off today (July 23) in the rain at 08:32.
Oda:
Took off for what was likely her maiden flight on July 21 at 10:41 and has not returned since.
Wanda (1FT4):
On July 22 at 11:28, Mieszko fed her. At 12:39, she was observed deterring a predator, after which she flew off in a great hurry and has not been seen since.

Te 2 bociany nie mają drogich nadajników opartych o technologię gps/gsm, ale tanie obrączki elektroniczne, które łączą się do sieci operatorów komórkowych pod warunkiem, że ptaki znajda się w odległości do 200 metrów od jakiegokolwiek telefonu. To nowy pilotażowy produkt jednej z polskich firm. Dlatego musimy uzbroić się w cierpliwość, żeby wiedzieć coś więcej. Nie znamy losów Wandy ani innych młodych. Może już poleciały po oddaleniu. Zadzwonię do leśniczego, żeby tam zajrzał dyskretnie w okolicach gniazda.

These two storks don't have expensive transmitters based on GPS/GSM technology, but cheap electronic rings that connect to mobile networks only if the birds are within 200 meters of any phone. It's a new pilot product from a Polish company. That's why we need to be patient to find out more. We don't know what happened to Wanda or the other fledglings. Maybe they've already flown away after fledging. I'll call the forester so he can discreetly check the area around the nest.

Dzień dobry, leśniczy Krzysztof zajrzy w okolice gniazda. Ptaki maja obrączki elektroniczne i łączą się dopiero jeśli jest jakiś telefon w odległości < 200m. Krzysztof sprawdzi też najbliższe łąki. Poza tym jest mokro, więc ptaki mogą gdzieś siedzieć i czekać na lepszą pogodę. Były w dobrej kondycji, więc czekajmy spokojnie (Besides, it's wet, so the birds might be sitting somewhere and waiting for better weather. They were in good shape, so let's wait patiently.)
