Hello everyone :-)

CHICK 🐥🐥🐥 (🐥) + 🐥
- 1st chick: 44 days old (hatched in the night 21./22.05)
- 2nd chick: 44 days old (hatched in the night 21./22.05)
- 3rd chick: 40 days old (hatched on 23. 05)
- 4th: on 24. 05; brood reduction by female on 28.05 - 4 days old :(

- one chick, Bonus 2, adopted on 18.06
- info about the 2nd saved chick: viewtopic.php?p=59858#p59858

Stork chicks grow exponentially. 90 days in the nest is like 18-21 years for humans. This means that 1 day in the nest is like almost 3 months for a human child. That is why their transformation is so amazing and fast.

Leg Ring Identification:
Three of the chicks carry rings 7201, 7202, and 7203, while the adopted/foster chick (referred to as "Bonus") carries the distinct ring 710L.

Nest Activity Log – 04/07/2026

04:02 – The live stream resumed and the camera is working again. It is raining and the chicks are wet.

07:22:54 – The adopted ("bonus") chick is actively playing with a stick in the nest.

09:31:55 – 09:32:29 – The male arrived and fed the chicks. He regurgitated a good large fish in two portions.

12:21:53 – 12:21:57 – The female arrived and fed the chicks (small food items).

13:48:51 – 13:49:11 – The male arrived and fed the chicks. He brought a large amount of fish.

14:01:41 – 14:02:04 – Another arrival by the male and feeding. He brought a large amount of fish again.

14:11:25 – The chicks are wing-flapping (beautiful display of wings).

15:57:13 – 15:57:29 – The female arrived with wet feathers on her neck. She brought a small mammal (possibly a European water vole). In a fight for the food, the chick with ring 7202 won and swallowed the prey.

(General note: The nest was wet due to morning rain. The parents were very active today, feeding the chicks 5 times in total, including 3 large fish deliveries by the male. A special highlight was the female bringing a small mammal in the afternoon).
