Jānis Ķuze comments on the situation in a few words:
The nest is certainly not optimal for the Black Stork, but the impression of landing space and distance to the first branches is deceptive. The problem is rather that the nest is relatively narrow and the bird will try to "stretch" it longer and wider outside the central part.
How this will turn out cannot be predicted with certainty.
Lesser Spotted Eagles may still nest here, while it is unlikely (although not impossible) that Black Storks will nest here.
More to the same point: what can be predicted with relative certainty is that if the stork is here for a long time, there is a very good chance that we will see a white picture at some point. The camera is placed close to the nest and from that point of view at a very precarious/unsafe angle.
