Skierka, jeżeli mogę to tak nazwać, bada młode? Mam wrażenie, że również przy jej bardzo delikatnym czyszczeniu młodych (zupełnie innym niż to Królewicza) sprawdza reakcję piskląt? Zaznaczę również, że to samo robiła w tamtym roku (bez takiej sytuacji z dziś o 15:06).

reason is, that from an evolutionary perspective, females are responsible for the quality of offspring - for the quality/survival of that particular genus (that's why they look for the "best" partner)
