ja, in Wolsztyn saß ein Paar auf dem Nest und wir warteten bereits auf die Ablage des ersten Eis. Eines Tages kam das Weibchen jedoch nicht zurück und einige Tage später auch das Männchen nicht. Hoffentlich sind sie aus irgendeinem Grund einfach in ein anderes Nest umgezogen.
Wir haben keine weiteren Neuigkeiten. Die Nestinspektionen beginnen erst im Juni, vielleicht bekommen wir also Neuigkeiten. Aber keiner von beiden hat einen Ring.

yes, in Wolsztyn a pair was sitting on the nest and we were already waiting for the first egg to be laid. But one day the female didn't come back and a few days later the male didn't either. Hopefully they simply moved to another nest for some reason.
We have no further news. Nest inspections don't start until June, so maybe we'll get some news. But neither of them has a ring.

Waluś podczas wycieczki odkrył już nawet starorzecza #Pilicy przy Zbiorniku Sulejowskim. Proces usamodzielniania się obu piskląt będzie długi. Prawdopodobnie oba ptaki stopniowo będą oddalać się od Ośrodka w Kole na coraz większe odległości, szukać odpowiednich miejsc do zdobywania pokarmu i powracać tu na krótko. Liczymy, że dopiero pod koniec lata (sierpień?), staną się w pełni samodzielne i podejmą migrację.

During the trip, Walus has even already explored the old riverbeds of the Pilica at the Sulejowski Reservoir. The process of both chicks becoming independent will be a long one. Probably both birds will gradually move further and further away from the Centre in Koło, look for suitable places to get food and return here for a short time. We hope that only at the end of summer (August?), they will become fully independent and undertake migration.
