YT 12:41 PM Tanya Don
- a guy with a bald spot in his wing was in the nest with a female when a competitor arrived.
It would be great if there was a good zoom at this time to take a good screenshot of this male's head with a bald spot in the right wing.
- A male with a bald spot came to the nest singing at 10.49.06 Next is the female 10.49..29
- They greeted each other joyfully.
12:54 PM MarikaSolo
it is the same "nesting" female?
- Marika, the zoom is bad now and the details of the storks' heads are not visible. I can't say for sure about the female. But most likely it's the same female.
- I thought everything had calmed down here and I didn't come here for a couple of days. It turns out that the fight for the nest continues.
1:00 PM MarikaSolo
no reporting about fight here and in the LKF
I am visiting this stream every day
-----
again it's confusing on this nest

- 04:02:43 male no 1 in - 04:43:12 female out - 05:33:49 female in
- 06:05:13 female out
- 06:06 ATTACK (male no2?) - 06:06:19 male 1 falls out
- 06:06:26 female in - 06:07: 25 ATTACK (male no 1) - 06:07:50 What is this? Fish? - 06:07:55 2 storks fall out - 06:08:27 BS out (male no 2?)
- 06:08:51 BS in (male no 2?) - 06:08:59 female in
- 06:09:04 ATTACK - 06:09:09 all out

....
It is very time-consuming to determine who is the attacker and who is the loser (you have to carefully watch the slow-motion streaming repeatedly) - I don't have the time and the desire for it
... the nest is very important, and so is the female for sure
the male with the gap in his wing arrived to the defending pair in the nest
(it is not the arrival time)

Re: ESTONIA Jõgeva County NEW NEST
I scrolled back to the second morning attack (at 06.07) - only in slomo (and repeatedly rewind) you can see what happened.
I will describing it later - I need to sort the photos, there's no need to upload all the ones I saved to understand the action.
in this light the male #1 has most dark legs (and gap in the right wing), male #2 (the new) has vibrant red legs, female has pale mat legs
The male black stork with vibrant red legs regurgitated 3 big fish during this fight. The female flew off with one fish, followed by another male. She dropped the fish.
These two storks weren’t pushed out of the nest—they flew off. Or more likely, the male just slipped when he tried to grab that fish and couldn’t make it back to the nest. (It was the male with the hole in his wing.)
When female came back, she struggled but managed to swallow one fish first (it had been hidden in the moss at the bottom of the nest), and then the second one (visible all the time) too.
Btw. the size of the fish reminded me of the ones that the male Jan used to bring to the first live-streamed nest from this area.
