I found one picture from last year, where there was a similar situation as currently. An adult is frightening a strange stork away.
The local male may be a bit handicapped, because of the missing primary feathers. As a result, he may not be fully able to protect his nest. We check most of the nests in July.
By then, all these events are long gone and there will be no evidence such as egg shells or as "here have been chicks".
The resolution of the web camera is too bad to get sharper images to compare individuals.We need to replace the cam system with a better one next year.
