Bulgaria: Belozem - a village in Rakovski Municipality of Plovdiv Province

Krum searched for food and rested in 2 main areas - along the irrigation canals. For night roost he flew again to the trees near the Maritsa river. It is the area of the Maritsa-Parvomay - IBA (Important Bird Area) and Natura 2000 site (code BG0002081), more here https://www.ciconianigra.sk/viewtopic.p ... 322#p40322 video too.

First localisation is near his favourite irrigation canal is at 5h UTC. From there he flew (departure at 8.10) to the west, but immediately stork turned back. Continued to the east a and there he searched for food (and rested) most of the time (9-10.30 and 11.50-15.50). At 16h our stork already moved to his night roost.

Prvá lokalizácie je o 5h pri jeho obľúbenom zavlažovacom kanáli. Odtiaľ odletel (o 8.10) na otočku smerom na západ. Pokračoval na východ a tam hľadal potravu a oddychoval väčšinu dňa (9-10.30 a 11.50-15.50). O 16h sa náš bocian už presúval na nocovisko.
