- that area belong to Körös-Maros National Park: In the floodplain on the right bank of the river, a 421-hectare area was declared protected in 1990 under the name Makó-Landor forests, which provides a breeding, feeding, migration and resting place for the fauna of the steppes, floodplain forests and grasslands in between, is an ecological corridor between the Kopáncsi-puszta and the Mures Valley; it plays a significant role in the migration of numerous bird species ...
