in this thread we follow adult female named Skierka from the streamed nest in Bolewicze Forest District (we follow Skierka in our forum for 4th season
SKIERKA, 7 CY, ring number VT3726
(a bird is 1CY = calendar year from the day it hatches until midnight on 31 December, it is 2CY for the next 12 months, etc.)

Skierka's new nest is far from the one in Bolewice from 2022 by 6 km, and from the one from 2021 in Wolsztyn by 25 km

Skierka visited some other nest and several times her nest in Wolsztyn and: "At the end of April 1, she found a "handsome" stork in another nest in the Bolewice Forest District, where she has been incubating since April 8."

Our female Skierka tried to breed in two other nests 20 and 40 km away already in 2020, but she was chased away by old birds. In 2021, she again visited the same two nests from last year and finally joined her first-ever brood in the Wolsztyn Forest District.

Skierka comes from the Skierniewice Forest District in the Bolimów Forest (Puszcza Bolimowska). There she was ringed and even had a GPS transmitter on. (Previous years we follow her with the "name" BOCZ 07 ŻÓŁTY - Yellow, because she has yellow transmitter.)

Rehabilitacja trwała ponad pół roku i ptak został uwolniony wieczorem 7.08 w Stacji #WWF przy jeziorze #Lago_di_Conza w regionie #Basilicata. Dziękujemy włoskim lekarzom i ornitologom za pomoc udzieloną bocianowi z Polski 
Już w dwa dni później dotarł do dopływu rzeki #Fiumara_di_Atella i wszystko wskazuje na to, że w tym regionie spędzi zimę. Przez cały czas pozostawaliśmy w stałym kontakcie z #CRAS i wspólnie wyposażyliśmy bociana w nowy mniejszy nadajnik, żeby można było śledzić jego dalsze losy. Do niedawna Grzegorz przebywał przez kilka tygodni na 3,3 km odcinku niewielkiego strumienia ukrytego wśród drzew. Wizja lokalna ( dla Adriano) wykazała, że ptak samodzielnie żeruje, boi się ludzi i ucieka na ich widok, a więc jest dobrze
