Kinderek, pisklę zabrane z gniazda w Nadleśnictwie Wolsztyn przez KOO, wczoraj przeszedł ogólnorozwojowe badania kontrolne. Ptak jest w bardzo dobrej kondycji i w wieku 94 dni ma dobre wskaźniki: masa = 3140 g, dziób = 153 mm, skrzydło = 527 mm.
Na głowie ma nadal kilka białych piór puchowych, a na piórach w ogonie pręgi_głodowe – pozostałości dramatycznego okresu pisklęcego, kiedy był na skraju śmierci głodowej.
Młody bocian na krótkie chwile jest wypuszczany, żeby się „rozlatał”. Zimę spędzi jednak w nowej dużej wolierze w Leśnym_Ośrodku_Rehabilitacji_Zwierząt_w_Kole w towarzystwie innego młodego bociana czarnego, który dotarł tu bardzo osłabiony tydzień temu z #Nadleśnictwa_Wieluń. Sądząc po jego „wskaźnikach” (m=2830g, d=136 mm, s = 523 mm) ten bocian także pochodzi z późnego lęgu, ale nie ma śladów przegłodzenia. Oba ptaki są pod dobrą opieką pracowników Ośrodka i zostaną uwolnione wiosną.
